Our goal is to keep the per person fees for our sessions as low as possible. There are certain fixed costs that are incurred for each class no matter how many students attend, so we rely on and work hard to fill the classes to keep the session fees low. When last minute cancellations happen, it affects our ability to fill the spot and to cover these costs. For this reason the following cancellation policies must be set:
Cancellations within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund.
If a class is missed, a make-up class is not guaranteed. If we are able to accommodate one, it will be at an extra fee of $50.
Requests to be transferred to a future session must be made prior to 14 days of the start date of the original session. Otherwise, we cannot refund or transfer the payment.
Gift Cards may be applied towards the purchase of future Hand Building or Wheel Throwing Sessions
Purchasing this digital gift card creates a unique code. The gift card recipient can enter this code at checkout to subtract the gift card value from their order total.

This session meets on April 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 1pm-3pm. In the first two classes instructor, Vanessa Hock, will guide students in learning the step-by-step basics of wheel throwing. (On average, beginners will make between 4-6 vessels/platters over the course of these two classes). In the third class students will trim, add handles and decorate their pottery. In the last class, students will brush on glazes. At the end of the session students will be given a date/time when they can pick up their finished pieces.
